CHAD KIEL

PIERRE, SD

I basically grew up outside; hunting and trapping in central South Dakota while calling coyotes at a young age. I hunted my first coyote calling contest when I was 14 with my dad and have been a very advanced and passionate predator hunter since. Over the past 8 years, I have managed several coyote calling contests – all have been very successful because of the people I surround myself with and the community in which I live. I spend time mentoring the next generation to continue to keep kids involved in the outdoors and shooting sports. I’m married to my amazing wife, Emily, who keeps me in line. And we are raising two great kids together and a very active, energetic black lab pup.

EMILY KIEL

PIERRE, SD

Growing up in northeastern South Dakota, staying inside was not an option. Since I can remember, I have either had a gun or a fishing rod in one or both hands, thanks to my dad who was blessed with two daughters. I work hard and have spent my career in public service, serving the wonderful people of South Dakota. I have held leadership positions in a variety of departments and have led and been a part of some pretty incredible initiatives over the years. I love this state and I love being outside. I am fortunate that I married a man who loves the outdoors just as much as I do – we are raising our family in the same traditional ways. Living 30 miles north of Pierre along the Missouri River is a dream come true. I am excited to be a part of this next journey involving the outdoors and predator hunting and hope that you will partner with us to do big things!

CURT UNDERHILL

PIERRE, SD

I am also a born and raised South Dakotan, growing up in Huron. At the young age of 24, my dad (definitely see a trend here) and I worked together to film and host competitive fishing tournaments, build sponsorships, and community engagement across the state. It’s because of what I learned from him that I am successfully able to manage multiple tournaments throughout the Upper Midwest today. I moved to Pierre in 2008 and for 13 consecutive years, I have put on the largest and longest running walleye fishing tournament in South Dakota. I also reside north of town with my wife and daughter, who I have taught to hunt and fish. Like the Kiels, we are outside all the time.
